Yard tour
Here are all the loveliest natural features of our yard, front and back. Since there are several photos included here, I'll number them...
1. This big beautiful white flower is also very common around here.
2. We have a fruit tree in the back yard. But we don't know what kind of fruit it is! The tree was in full bloom about a month ago, and now the fruit is starting to grow.
3. This is the rose bush right outside our bathroom window. It's just about ready to bloom!
4. This is the tree in our backyard that is covered with hanging moss.
5. This is a lawn duck that I got from my Grandma Freed's house before she moved. It's happy here, and gets a lot of rain.
6. We have a rhododendron that Susan (Rick's mom) planted in front of our house. The rhododendrons around here are gigantic. Not only are they beautiful, but they've attracted the ants OUT of the kitchen. Susan said she thought they might leave the kitchen if they had a flowering bush out front to preoccupy them. She was right!

Your flowers and trees are so pretty!! What a genious MIL you have to be able to lure your ants out of the kitchen!! The fruit blossom looks like an apple blossom. Could the tree be a crab apple? A mystery fruit, hmm?
Our flowers/hanging baskets are blooming, but we have had very hot weather and little rain, so they are always wilting. I need an every-morning routine of watering, which I don't have.
I wonder if Grandma could see the duck if she could get it on her screen? Maybe we can try it at her place this weekend. We will miss you all, but sounds like Stacy and Stephanie will be the only grandchildren there. At least they have kids that can play together and with Christopher. Jordyn and Josh will probably join in some, too.
Love your pictures!! Keep posting them. Love and kisses to you both.
Love, Mom
Love the plants! Isn't great when you move in somewhere and there are already beautiful flowers and such planted? Unfortunately whoever buys our house won't have that luxury! We did when we moved into our house in NE. The huge climbing rose bush and our peony bushes were my favorites!
Miss you guys and hope that you're doing well!
Love,
Mandy
