At the Seashore

On Saturday, one of my co-workers and I went beachcombing at Point St. George. It was a beautiful day, and we both marveled at how it doesn't seem like January. The only sign is the snowcapped mountains in the distance.
Rick had to work, so he wasn't able to poke around the beach with us. He had a good day though, selling lots of furniture. He likes his job, and is good at it.

Those pictures are so nice! I'm originally from Portland and my family and I went to Point St. George when I was little. But we all really like the beaches that are just a tad more north. If you're ever up our way, check out Cannon Beach. There are these really amazing rocks that stick out of the water and great cliffs if you're in to cliff jumping into the ocean. It's also home of Haystack Rock where the pirate ship was hidden at the end of the Goonies. There are also some good spas and taffy shops up there too. If you're into that too. Safe travels!

I just happened upon your blog today. Very nice pictures. I've never been to Northern California, but I love the Seattle area. Be glad you're not still in the midwest. I think our high in Iowa today is about 4 above. Yuck.

Gorgeous pictures! Are they with your new Nikon? I would LOVE to walk by any water that is not frozen right now! It has been in the single digits for a few days, so even the river is freezing in chunks. It looks like it was a nice way to spend a day while Rick was having a good day, too. Nice to talk to you, Rick (Dad)

We love you and miss you both.
